Added to that, ease of generation, low electricity consumption and lower life time cost make it the ideal thing for disinfection across a spectrum of industries and applications.

At Faraday Ozone, ozone technology is being used to disinfect fruits and vegetables from bacteria and virus. The same technology is being used in poultries to disinfect the feed water drastically. Aquaculture industry is also said to be benefiting from its capacity to disinfect ponds and reduce diseased. It is used to treat waste water in industries on a massive scale. In agriculture, it can be used to kill pests to a significant extent without any residual chemical. It can revolutionise the laundry industry by reducing detergent usage up to 90%.

At Faraday, they have nurtured the technology over the past two decades and have 15 patents in this space. At present,they are looking at collaborating with OEMs and large corporates for the adoption of this technology in the forefront of global market," says Vivekanandan, managing director of the company.
